While we were in Utah we had the opportunity to meet, for the first time, Logan's case worker Amy. This really was one of the high lights of the trip for me. She has been such an amazing blessing to our family during this process. It's hard to put into words all that she means to our family. I know that we could not have made it this far with out her help. She is one of God's special angels on earth.
Since many of you might be wondering how Logan is doing I thought I would share a quick update with you. I just wrote my friend an email so I will use the explanation I gave her...
It has been quite the ordeal. When we were in Utah the beginning of July we got a call from our caseworker saying that our file was finally done with the Guatemalan government. We were ecstatic to hear this. We later found out that our caseworker was reviewing the file before it got sent into the US government for finalization and noticed there was a form missing. He went back to the Guatemalan side and they showed it had been completed, but some how they seemed to have "miss placed" it.
So for the last month our caseworker has been going to the Guatemalan offices almost everyday to try and get our file actually completed. They are saying that it should be done sometime next week, but both Jeff and I say we will believe it when we see it.
It's been so hard and such a drawn out experience, but I know there is a purpose behind everything. We have learned so much through this trial. And I'm sure when I am holding my little boy in my arms I will forget all the pain that we have had to go through in order to bring him home.

We would greatly appreciate you including us in your fasts or prayers. We have very strong testimonies of the power of prayer. We appreciate your love and concern for our family. All our love Jeff, Shauna, Logan, and Bella.
Our Angel Amy
