The day of the party I woke up with my left eye sealed shut. My sister's kids came at Thanksgiving time, and they all had pinkeye. I had never had it before so I quickly called my sister to ask what the symptoms were. She told me it sounded like I had it, and that I should call the doctor to get on some medication.
When I went in to the doctor, he said that I was highly contagious. I was so disappointed to not be able to go to the party. I was really looking forward to it. I knew there would be little kids there, and I would feel horrible if I got one of them sick.
So around 6:30 Jeff said goodbye as I sent him out the door with a cake I had made. I had wanted to go get a Christmas tree before the party started. That way I would have had something to do while he was out having fun, but he said that he wanted to wait.
Anyway, I think everyone had an enjoyable time. At least that's what it sounded like. Jeff's phone randomly calls sometimes, because he doesn't have a lock on it. He called me at around 10:30 last night and I could hear everyone laughing and joking around. I almost cried.
On the brite side at least I'm getting all this sick stuff over with before Logan gets here. I'm sure I would feel a lot worse if I was sick when he got home.

Pinkeye is no fun at all! I had it in high school during Thanksgiving one time. Sorry you missed the party.
We're having an ugly sweater party this week too. My friend and I even found MATCHING sweaters. You should come up to it since you missed yours! Do you have a date that Logan gets to come home????
