This boy...
Man, do we feel so blessed to have him in our family. His entrance into our family is no less miraculous then the arrival of our oldest kiddos. The story about his journey to our family is one that I hold very dear to my heart. Just like the births of our other two children, I felt the presence of God's hand very strongly in Lincoln's arrival.
He is loved by everyone that meets him. He is all smiles, and it melts my heart that I get to see this little face everyday.
He has an incredibly strong spirit. I feel a great connection to our heritage through this little guy. He was named after his great grandfather, and great-great grandfather. I feel those great men continue to live on through our little Lincoln.
He is such a people person. Put him in a room with lots of people, and he is as happy as can be. I love watching his face light up when he sees his big brother and sister ~ it's magical.
I love many things about this little boy, but one of the things I adore seeing everyday are his big blue eyes. His crib is in our room and every morning I get to hear him singing, talking, and cooing. Once he gets restless he peeks his head up over the crib bumper and looks at me with his big blue eyes and a huge smile. It's one of my favorite parts of the day.
Lincoln has taught me so much already. Because of Lincoln I know that God does hear and answers our prayers. I have a far greater knowledge of faith because of Lincoln. Because of Lincoln I know that God knows me ~ far better than I will ever know myself. Because of Lincoln I have a greater knowledge of charity, because I have felt the pure love of Christ through Lincoln.
I'm amazed at how much I have learned from each one of my children. With each child that has entered our family I find myself in awe of the precious gift they are to Jeff and I.
I love you little man ~ forever and always!
P.S. ~ As a side note this little hunk-a-hunk of man has been eating vegetables, and loving it!

Those are so sweet. I especially loved the part about the hope that Bella brought and how that is her middle name. How neat!
