Seven months has already started out busy for our little man. He has been doing many firsts this past month.
His first tooth finally broke through. The poor guy has really been working hard on it, so it was exciting to finally see it. Before his tooth broke he was still waking up every two and a half hours, but ever since his tooth came in he has finally started sleeping through the night again. He goes to bed at 7:00 and wakes up around 6:00 or 7:00 in the morning. We are ecstatic!
He is a huge thumb sucker right now. Bella sucks her thumb also, but not nearly as much as Lincoln.
He is eating three solid meals a day. I have mostly been giving him vegetables and rice cereal, but he is also a huge fan of yogurt. He LOVES his food, and that is putting it mildly. I guess he is a lot like his mommy.
He has gotten very good at feeding himself his Baby Mum Mum crackers. He likes to finish his meal off with at least two of these crackers. Which I think is great because it gives me just long enough to eat my own bowl of cereal before he starts squawking to get out of his chair.
He sits up on his own now without any assistance. He LOVES to be seated right in the middle of Logan and Bella's playtime. He is super content when he is keeping up with his big brother and sister.
He has learned the art of crawling... backwards. It is quite hysterical to watch him.
He takes two naps during the day. Usually the naps are around an hour, sometimes more. A few months ago I purchased the book Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child, and it has been a huge help in getting Lincoln on a regular sleep schedule.
He is wearing 9 month clothes right now. I think he is pretty average for his height and weight. I feel like he is growing up so quickly. I don't want to blink because I'm afraid I will miss something.
He still has an incredibly sweet disposition. He is always full of smiles and laughs. We all simply adore our little man, and can't imagine our lives without him. He is a blessing and miracle.
