Best Halloween Party Ever

Our amazingly talented friend Jessika invited us to her Halloween party that she and her husband Daniel put on.  The whole night was just magical and SO much fun.  We had a fantastic time.  The kids had a birthday party earlier in the day, so they were already dressed and ready to go that night.

At the last minute Bella surprised me when she decided she wanted to be a cowgirl instead of a princess.
These two really crack me up.

Doesn't Logan look like the cutest little Clark Kent?  I love that little boy!
One of the things that I love about Jessika is how detail oriented she is.  Everywhere you looked at her party there were so many things to look at and elements to admire.

Right before we left for the party Logan also decided he wanted to change outfits.  I think we were one of the first people to show up, so the kids got right into the fun.

First stop was the bobbing for apples station.

Daniel decided he needed to teach the youngsters how it's really done...

Logan thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen.  He kept saying, "That's crazy!"
Logan thought about trying it...
but then his common sense got the better of him.
Lincoln even tried to go in for an apple.

Next we were on to the eating donuts off of strings.

I think this was one of my favorite parts of the night.  You know how funny it is watching a dog chase it's own tail?  Well, that is what it was like watching Lincoln trying to eat his donut.  HYSTERICAL!!!!

Enjoying the rewards of their hard work.
Bella thinking, oh you silly boys!  Why work so hard to get a donut off a string, when you can just walk over to the box of donuts and pick out one.

They also set up an amazing fishing pond.  Jeff was super impressed with the goody bags.  He was helping out behind the scenes, and I'm sure the bags were a little lighter before they flew over to the kids.

Thanks again Jessika and Daniel for putting on such a spectacular Halloween party.  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  We can't wait to do it all over again next year. : )

p.s. ~ Incase you were wondering Jeff was dressed up as pumpkin pie, and I was a fork in the road.
