I was able to go up to the Portland Temple today. I work there every Thursday. It has been such an enjoyable experience. It has been a real blessing in my life while riding the roller coaster of emotions that are involved in adoption. It is always nice to go there and be able to recenter and find such peace. I'm really going to miss working there.
Today I had a few extra minutes before my shift started, so I was able to walk around the grounds. I thought it was so pretty how the white of the Temple stands out from the sky. As you can see it was another beautiful Oregon day.
It must be fall, because I passed this truck on the way up to Portland. Isn't that so fun to see all the pumpkins. It makes me excited for Halloween.
I also had to share this picture of our odometer. Can you believe it! We have had some good trips in our little car. Jeff and I just keep praying that it continues to last us until his is done with medical school. We'll see how lucky we can get.
