This Past Weekend

We actually had a very busy weekend.  With Jeff leaving this week he has been trying to see as many people as he can before the big move.  Poor Bella has been quite the little trooper with us, seeing as how we haven't been sticking to her regular routine.

First off we have to say congratulations to Keith and Theresa who were married on Friday.  They both looked so happy, and make a wonderful couple.  Their reception was beautiful and they were blessed with great weather.  The weather sure can be iffy here in Oregon.  We wish them both the best of luck, and lots of happiness.

On Saturday and Sunday we spent some time with Jeff's dad who was in town from Arizona.  On Saturday we met up with Dan and Jessica's (Jeff's sister) family in Albany.  They were making there way back from Portland.  Bella was able to see her Grandpa Dan again.  He drove to Nevada when she was born to see her in the hospital.  She has grown quite a bit since the last time he saw her.  (She is almost at 18 pounds now.  Wow!)  Bella also met her cousins for the first time.  On Sunday we drove down to Jeff's hometown, and spent some more time with Dan.

It was great to see Dan again, since we probably won't be seeing him very much once we move.  He did really well with Bella, you can really tell he loves to be around his grand kids.  Even though Bella was fussy since both visits were after her bedtime, Dan did everything he could to get her to laugh.

Jenn is due in November with her first little one, so we thought she might want some practice.

Much better.

Dan is growing his beard out, and Bella was quite interested in it.  That's a sign of a good grandpa - he lets his grand kids pull the hair out of his head and doesn't even mind.

Oh my goodness that first picture of me is awful. Glad you made it better with the second. :) Could you imagine if both those girls were mine and I had a baby on the way. I would be CRAZY! It was so good to see everyone on Friday though. I hope everything goes well for Jeff's drive East. Good luck with everything out there! :)
