Why I Love My Double Stroller

I'm finally getting around to writing about our double stroller.  A couple people asked why I liked it, and how I decided on it.  Here are my reasons;

I had narrowed my decision down to the Kolcraft Tandem and the Joovy.  I was talking to my friend Jennifer, and complaining about how I couldn't decide between the two of them.  For some reason there is no double stroller out there that has all the features that you want or need.  Any way Jennifer gave me the best advice, she told me to think about what my major requirements were and to pick the one that best fit those needs.

One thing that I knew would be important is that Bella is still young enough that she can fall asleep while we are out.  In the Joovy if Bella fell asleep Logan would have no place to sit.  I also wanted lots of storage.  It seems that with two kids you always have a TON of stuff to bring along.  I love the cargo space in our stroller.  I can put our diaper bag, coats, and still have room for more.  I liked how there was storage for keys, cell phone, and water bottles.  In the Joovy you have to buy the storage separately.  I also loved the fact that there are so many different sitting positions in our stroller.  I really like how easily the stroller is to maneuver.  I can easily make it through doorways, and it is extremely easy to turn corners.  

The down side is yes it's large, but pretty much all double strollers are.  It does take up quite a bit of our trunk space, but I was pleasantly surprised at how compact it is.  When folding it up you do have to remove the front seat, but really it's not that difficult.  Besides if you can wrangle up two kids you should be fine with handling a stroller:)
