Lincoln Is A Month

We finally got our Internet back. It went out last week during one of our crazy thunderstorms that we have been having lately. We have had some pretty interesting weather this year.

Anyway I wanted to make sure I wrote down some of the things that our little Lincoln accomplished this past month. I can't believe that he is already a month old (as of last Friday). I'm trying to enjoy every minute I possibly can, because I feel it going so fast.

Here is a list of a few of the things he has accomplished over the past month:
* Made his daddy, mommy, brother, and sister happier than they have ever been. (It's amazing how with each additional family member, your love just continues to grow. With each new member of our family, life just keeps getting better and better. I honestly can't imagine our lives without him.)
* He was able to recover fully from his lung condition, without any complications.
* Smiled for the first time, the third day of his life.
* Giggled for the first time.
* At three weeks old he slept for six hours straight. Granted he isn't consistent about it, but we will take it when we can.
* Met his grandma Mimi for the first time.
* Had his first metro ride.
* He has been to D.C.
* Had his first cold.
* He had to go into the doctor so much the first few weeks of his life, his pediatrician said she was OK with not seeing him again until he's two months old, so I'm not exactly sure how much he weighs. I'm pretty sure he is doing well at putting on the weight, at least his double chin will attest to that theory.
* He is becoming much more alert and awake during the day. We have really enjoyed seeing those bright blue eyes.
* Has his mommy wrapped around his little finger.

I took these pictures on Sunday. I love Lincoln's expression in this first picture.

Here he is on the metro.
I don't think he was too impressed.
