Lucky Friday the 13Th

I've never thought of Friday the 13Th as weird or unlucky, maybe because I was born on a Friday the 13Th. Also our little man turned 10 months old today. I just keep thinking about how quickly a year is going to be here. I can't believe how fast these ten months have gone.

It's fun to see Lincoln's little personality starting to show through.
He is starting to be a real trouble maker, but he is so cute when he does it. For example one of his favorite things to do is go over to the plants and tear the leaves off, and play in the dirt. When I find him covered in dirt he looks up at me and just smiles.

Some of his favorite things to play with are Kleenex boxes, a wipe box, or a clothes hamper. He LOVES pulling all of my clean clothes out of the hamper (even if they are nicely folded). He can be a real stinker sometimes.
There is still LOTS of drooling going on, as you can see from the picture below. The teeth on top came in, so he now has four teeth on top and three on bottom. He loves to chew on things. He attempts even to chomp on people.
His hair is getting a little ridiculous. I want to cut it, but Jeff is wanting to let it keep growing. Jeff thinks if we let it grow longer it will start to curl, like his did when he was little. To me it's getting to be a little Donald Trump looking in the front, and a party in the back. The verdict is still out on who will win this battle.
Last month he learned how to climb up stairs. He is so proud of himself when he gets to the landing. It is pretty cute to watch. We are still working on the going down part.
He is a dancing machine. When music comes on he gets his little hands going, and really likes to rock out.
This last month he got an eye infection in both eyes. Before he got the eye infection we had gone up to Portland and talked to an eye specialist about his blocked tear duct. The ironic part was that after the visit his eye seemed to be improving, and then the eye infection came. We got him on some medicated eye drops, so I'm hoping that this will actually take care of things, and his eyes will stay cleared up. The thought of having to have him go in for surgery terrifies me. Plus who wouldn't want to look at these beautiful blues all day?
He has been better about sleeping through the night which is a huge relief. He goes to bed at 7:00 and wakes up between 5:00 and 5:30. He wakes up super happy in the morning and just lies in bed talking and gabbing. Which is very different from when he wakes up from his naps. He is always cranky and crying when he wakes up after naps.
I asked Logan and Bella what they like about Lincoln and this is what they told me.
Logan likes to play with him and make him laugh on the couch.
Bella likes to share his food (basically she likes to steal his food from him).
