For my birthday Jeff enrolled me in an online photography class. I have really been enjoying it (once I got over the first week) and I'm glad that I'm finally learning what my camera can really do. Here are just a few pictures that I have taken over the past few weeks. I've got a long way to go, but I'm sure it will just take more practice and patience.
I had a really fast shutter speed on this picture, so the rain drops look like they are stopped in mid-air.
I'm learning about depth of field. Which is something that I was interested in learning how people achieved these kind of photographs.
I'm looking forward to working on my photography, and I'm always looking for more willing models. My kiddos move so fast, that sometimes it's hard to catch up with them.

Nice work, Shauna! I am so behind on both blogging and reading blogs! But my kids miss yours SOOO so much! I don't know why but Brooklyn couldn't stop talking about Bella all day today. She even brought her up in her prayers tonight. She said, "Bless Bella that she will not get sick." So sad! Hopefully her prayers will help though...
