Bells

I figured since I have been talking a lot about my boys lately on the blog, that it was about time that our little Bella~B was due a post.

She has had a busy little summer so far. It's been full of playing, laughing, crying (she is 3 after all), and pure joy. While we have been in Oregon Jeff thought it was a good idea to put Bella in a swim class. She took two consecutive classes, and loved every minute of it.

She is a great little swimmer, and we are so proud of her. I see many scuba diving trips in her and Jeff's future. It will be nice for Jeff to have a permanent diving buddy.

The last day of class the kids get to whack the huge gong instrument with a large mallet. Not sure where this idea came from, but I guess it's a tradition and Bella seemed to enjoy it. Notice her little tongue sticking out, that is when you know she is concentrating.
It has been hit and miss with the days of sunshine here in Oregon. The days that do consist of a little sunshine, the kids really are loving playing outside. It has been a dream come true for them to have a yard to play in.
We are the proud new owners of a bubble machine, and the kids could not be happier with it. When we were living in Maryland our church nursery program had one, and I thought it was the best idea ever.
This is a look of pure joy and excitement.
Dancing in the bubbles, could life get any better? I think not!

Bella is always quick to volunteer to help me in the kitchen, but I think it is more because she likes licking the spatula clean of chocolate. We sure love this little girl's sense of humor. She keeps us on our toes, but I can't imagine our lives with out her.

Do you notice anything different from the picture above and the one below (beside the cute mustache)?

Last weekend Jeff and Bella went out for errands. We had to get new tires put on the car, and before they came home they added an extra stop. Jeff took Bella to get her ears pierced.
She loves them! They really do look cute on her, and she loves showing them off to people. Every time I put earrings in she now says, "Look mommy we match!"

That in a nutshell is what's new with Bella. Everyday we find ourselves laughing or smiling with something she does, and I can't think of a greater blessing than to have a home full of love and laughter.

I'm so jealous of kids now days with bubble machines! If only I had such an amazing invention when I was little! My mother-in-law got the girls one a couple Easters back and it's awesome! Our nursery also has one and Lona LOVES it! It broke a while back and every Sunday I had to hear how there were "no bubbles today." :( So it pays off being the daughter of the primary president because I finally bought one for them. My bishopric counselor thought it was a funny purchase for the primary but I insisted it was necessary! :) Were you disappointed to not get to see her get her ears pierced? I would be bummed. And it cracks me up that he took her. It would NEVER occur to Jeremy to do that. In fact he would have NO desire. She's a cutie!
