Yep, that's right I really am that far behind on my blogging. The Saturday before Easter Jeff decided to organize a bar-b-q at our place for some of his fellow first year medical students. We had a great turn out, and the food was AMAZING. Jeff is already talking about when he can put on another one.
During the get together we decided to put on an Easter egg hunt for the little ones. Logan was super excited to see his friends.
Lincoln found a new use for his Easter basket.
Then he decided his friend Gunner should try it on.
Bella LOVED all the attention that she got from all the people that came.
Lincoln found one egg and was completely content to just sit down and break it open.
It melted my heart to see how Logan willingly shared his eggs with a friend that hadn't found as many. He is such a sweetheart.
This picture cracks me up, because of the face Logan is making.
He was having so much fun 'playing' with all the big kids.
Apparently Lincoln didn't think the joke was as funny as Jeff did.
Bella opening her egg to find a surprise, and Lydia (one of our neighbors) enjoying their candy loot.
Easter morning Jeff didn't have his usual early morning church mornings, so the Easter bunny was able to stop by before church.
This year the Eater bunny decided to leave new swimsuits for everyone, and some other little goodies.
Lincoln trying to check out what is inside his sister's basket.
After church we just came home and had a quiet, relaxing day. Most years I have been okay with being away from family, but this year I remember missing it. I think it was because I still was feeling pretty sick, and the thought of having to make a big Easter dinner did not sound fun.
On the other hand I do have many wonderful Easter miracles to be thankful for.
