We have had lots of people asking about Logan's case. Our wonderful case worker sent us an email this week, and I thought it would be easiest just to share what she told us.
"What we're hearing on JCICS and from other agencies is that nobody has a completed registration yet. A lot of the rumors say how the authority was established, and the next day everyone in the authority was fired. Then they hired new people. Then suddenly there were 2 authorities. Then 1 of those authorities stepped out of the way. Then the remaining authority was too understaffed to get anything done.
What we know for sure is that your case was taken to the official authority, and that just this morning we got the scanned copies of the official receipt showing they had accepted your docs, but did not at that time give us official registration, (they're calling completed registration "constancia."). Nobody has constancia yet. Your docs were officially stamped at the new authority on Jan 22, which is within the requirement for registering cases under the new law. So we should be fine legally as far as getting the case through, when they can stop arguing and figure out what they're doing.
Also just this morning we got notice from the State Dept., that cases registered in GUA under the CNA will also have to be registered with a new office at a new location. I just sent Tony a note to see if he can find out what is going on there.
Everyone in GUA has been told that as soon as things work out with the new central authority, then the cases will be returned to the PGN to complete processing according to the old method."
That's kind of a run down on where we are at. Not exactly the news we would like to hear, but we just have to keep having faith in Heavenly Father's plan. Jeff has been so patient and optimistic through this whole experience. I am so blessed to have such an amazing support and rock in my life. I can't imagine going through this without him. I'm also very thankful for all the prayers and kind thoughts that people have sent our way. It's nice to know that we are so loved by our Heavenly Father, friends, and family. I just keep looking forward to the day when I will get to have someone call me mommy, and to see their smiling faces every day. I can't even imagine what a blessing that will be.

I feel like I just read a textbook regarding the explanation the agency gave you. It sounds like when we were living in Puerto Rico and the processes were slowed down by all the drama and chaos. We are just excited for him to come whenever that may be. The cousins are learning how to say quieres jugar? From your sis
Sounds like there has at least been a few baby steps made...keep your eye on that cute little prize! I can't wait for him to be in your arms at last!
We're praying for you!
