Our 2009 Halloween

Our first Halloween with Logan turned out to be a wonderfully awesome experience. Yet again it was another holiday that went by that I breathed a sigh of relief knowing that he was finally home where he belongs.

Our Halloween fun started out on Friday night when we went to our ward 'trunk or treat'. Logan was very adamant about carrying his own trick or treat bag. Jeff tried to help him carry his bag, but he would freak out if you reached for it.
Logan was pretty impressed with this whole trick or treating idea.
Bella was the cutest little bee I've ever seen.
The kids enjoying their first suckers.
When Jeff and I were living in Mexico we found this little mariachi outfit, and thought it was the cutest thing ever. When we bought it we had no idea that we would one day have the cutest little Latin son to put in it. I thought Logan looked so adorable and handsome in his costume.

Bella's bee costume came from a recent trip my mom took to Utah. I was surprised that Bella actually really liked wearing it.
On Saturday we headed over to some friends' house for a little party and trick or treating. Here is a photo before we headed out.

There really aren't many good places for trick or treating close to where we live. We headed across the street to the town homes, but do you notice a problem with this picture. Every single house you have to climb a million stairs just to get to the front door. After a couple of houses and the rain starting, we decided to bag it and head back to the party.
On the way to the party we hit one more door and the kids were tickled with the candy they received. Isn't it great when you have young kids and you can hit two houses and be done. :)
Jeff and I dressed up as a speed bump and a stop light.
My two favorite boys both won awards in the costume contest.
We had a great time dancing the night away.

Here is a shot of the amazing spread that Krista put together. Last year I was so bummed that we didn't get to the Lundell Halloween party because of this. I have been looking forward to Krista's party ever since, and let me tell you she did not disappoint. Everything was amazing and delicious.
A picture of some of the people at the party.
This video shows a little bit of some of the fun we had. What a great Halloween!

Oh my gosh, good work on the pictures! I'm totally gonna steal some since my cute hubby conveniently "misplaced" our camera early on in the evening. Thanks in advance. :) Oh and thanks for making me sound like an AWESOME party thrower instead of the mish-mash it was! Nice job! We'll just not remember the reality and stick with this.
