I've really fallen behind on posting pictures and what we have been up to lately. We have been enjoying the holiday season so far, and are looking forward to Christmas this week.
We were recently invited over to some friend's house for a night of cookie decorating. It was loads of fun and the cookies were super good. Logan and Jeff got their creative juices flowing. I had no idea Jeff was such a master cookie decorator. I now know who I'm going to get to do all the decorating in our house.
Once Logan got a hold of the icing he really went to town. This is right up his alley. Logan loves helping me bake and is super detail orientated.
Logan eating the fruits of his labor.
Bella also tried her hand at cookie decorating.
But she enjoyed looking at our friend's Christmas tree more. I kept saying, "Look don't touch." over and over. She would just look at it and say, "Ohhh, tree!"
Last Friday we were finally able to go get a Christmas tree. Jeff has been so busy at work that we just haven't had anytime. It actually worked out well to wait till the last minute because all the trees were 50% off. I think we found a new family tradition. The one downfall was that the kids and I had to go to five different stores looking for a tree stand, because everyone was sold out.
After the kids gave their approval. We finally decided on the perfect tree.
Logan was pretty excited about his new tree.
After the kids went to bed that night I decorated the tree so that it was all decorated for them when they woke up the next morning. My hope was that they wouldn't realize that all the ornaments came on and off. So far it's worked pretty well, and they haven't tried to take any of the ornaments off the tree.
We are still working on the potty training with Logan. We have good days and not so good days, but I think that is to be expected. This is the outfit that Logan came up with the other day. I just thought it was funny.
Now onto the big news in our neck of the woods, all the snow that we have gotten. These next few pictures show our apartment complex.
This picture shows you how much snow we actually got. This is a Toyota Tundra truck absolutely covered with snow. I think we got over two feet of snow. We actually had church cancelled yesterday, because we had so much snow. Jeff's work is also closed today, but of course he still went in.
The boys had so much fun playing in the snow.
Bella wasn't so sure.
My little snow bunnies.

Looks like you got as much snow as we did. Crazy huh! I'm a fan of a lot of snow, because that means SNOW DAY -- no school!
Cookie decorating looks like lots of fun! Maybe Logan will be a pastry chef one day! And I love your snow pictures. :)
Bella is her Mimi's girl. We do not like the snow!!! It looks pretty, but that's a LOT of snow. One more good reason to move back to Oregon. (hint, hint)
Love,
Mimi
