For some crazy reason I decided to start potty training Logan today. I guess the thought of having three little ones in diapers was what gave me the push. I have a feeling the process is going to be taking us awhile. We had zero success today.
Bella assessing the situation, and giving Logan some encouragement. The way things go in our house Bella will probably be potty trained before Logan. After calling my sister and getting some advice I have a feeling that we will be staying pretty close to home for the next few weeks.
Which probably isn't so bad because this past weekend we got our first snowstorm of the season. When I went to wake Logan up yesterday for church this is how I found him.
He was super excited about the snow. He would look outside and call the snow "snowman". He loved it!
After church Jeff thought the kids would like to play in the snow for a little while.
He stuck Bella in the snow...
and this is the reaction she gave him. I don't blame her one bit. She must take after her mom in not liking to be cold.
Of course she didn't get very much sympathy from her daddy, because he was too busy cracking up over the whole thing.
Notice Logan in the background going to town in the snow.
At least Logan enjoyed playing in the snow while it lasted.

The first one is always the hardest. I felt the same way and was convince Sheepie was going to potty train before FP did. Although in the end it did work out find and Sheepie did potty train faster from having watched FP do it.
We are just starting Potty training with Boy since he can pull up his pants, say poop and tell me when he has pooped... he is so much younger than the others were, but here is hoping.
Good luck!
Ugh, just the words potty training sends shivers down my back! It's great when it's all done but it sure does suck! I won't give you advice because it seems everyone has some. But I will say your sister is spot on in saying you should stay home for a while. It just makes it crazy trying to potty train on the go!
Also, I love Bella's reaction to snow. I would've assumed she loved it! And Jeff laughing while she's screaming, priceless!!!
Our boy was ten times harder to potty train that our girl!
Did your mom tell you I saw her at Costco the other day? It was so good to see her. I love her.
hahaha, i love how jeff was just laughing in the pics while bella was not happy at all - too funny!
Just remember small steps. The fact that Logan is sitting on the potty is a huge deal. So you definately had a successful day.
I think you picked a great time to stay in and potty train. This weather stinks! From my experience . . the 1st day was horrid. 2nd day not too much better, but the 3rd and 4th offered some hope for the future, and then I felt like I could go out for a short bit if I needed to. Just take it slow, and don't force, and it will happen. The snow pictures are adorable! Good luck!
The pictures are great! And you know, having 3 in diapers isn't all that bad...;)
HA HA HA Bella's face is PRICELESS! I'm not a big fan of the cold either, so I sympathize. I would have been laughing as hard as Jeff though. Great pictures! And Good Luck with the potty training!!
That is so cute! I love that little red coat on Bella.
