Mimi's Visit

The end of last month my mom came for a visit. It was a needed visit since just the day before we had been in the hospital with Logan. It was definitely a much needed break. As a side note, both Logan and Bella are doing much better. Logan is back to his old self and I think we have finally had our fill of the sick bug.

The kids sure were surprised when they woke up in the morning, and their Mimi was in their house.

I did a horrible job about taking pictures while my mom was here. I guess I was just having too much fun. I did remember to take the camera with us when we went to Baltimore. Before my mom got here I watched this show on the food network called, The Best Thing I Ever Ate. I always watch it when Duff is on because he usually makes recommendations for places in Baltimore. He recommended The Golden West Cafe, and it was amazing.
They had toys for the kids in the waiting area, which Bella completely loved. It's a very eclectic environment with amazing homemade food. Yummy!

After lunch we headed over to Charm City Cakes to tell Duff thanks for his great recommendation. :)
Then we took my mom to the older section of Baltimore down by the water front. The streets are still cobblestone, and there is some amazing architecture to admire.
Standing in front of the Chesapeake Bay.
We had a great visit with Mimi, and can't wait for her next visit. Actually now that we have a super air mattress, we are welcoming any and all visitors.

That looks like a fun trip to Baltimore! Fernando and I love the Ace of Cakes, and have thought of finding it a few times when we were up that direction. We also enjoy The Best Thing I ever Ate. We'll have to check out that restaurant sometime! Glad you could spend some time with your mom!
