Fire Station

Last Friday the kids and I were able to take a tour of a local fire station.

This was Logan's reaction when we pulled up to the station. Logan and Bella LOVE fire engines, so this was pretty much a dream come true for them.

We listened to the fire fighters give a speech about fire safety and a typical day for them. It was a little lengthy for my little ones, but once we got moving on the tour again they loved it. Logan really enjoyed seeing the sleeping quarters of the fire fighters.

By the time we got out to see the fire truck the fire fighters got a call, so they had to rush off. It was a bummer that the tour got cut short, but the kids loved seeing the fire truck take off with lights and sirens blazing.

Bella was left a little confused as to where the fire truck took off to.

I was talking to another mother about how moms never get in any of the pictures with their kids, so here is my attempt at a picture with my cute kiddos.

Thankfully Damaris was nice enough to snap a real picture with the kids and I.
