Update On the Baby

We had the opportunity to go and do another ultrasound today. It been so fun to see pictures of this little guy. We found out some interesting things today (The ultrasound technician was quick to tell us that these are all just guesses, and they aren't actual facts).

1. He weighs about 6 pounds 4 ounces right now.

2. She put the new due date as July 9Th. (I'll believe that when I see it).

3. He has hair, but she couldn't tell us if it was a lot or a little. She did say she could see a little peach fuzz on him

4. He is still a boy. :)

5. His head is still facing down.

6. At one point he little fingers were holding on to his toes.

7. "His head is measuring larger than the other numbers". We weren't sure exactly what that meant, but it sounds like he will have his daddy's big brains.

8. He has the most kissable little lips. I can't wait to give him a huge hug and lots of little kisses.

I asked Jeff to snap some photos on our way to the radiology office. I was laughing, because the kids were cracking up behind us. I'm at thirty-six weeks, and for the most part still feeling really well.

It was such a process getting pregnant, that when things get some what difficult I just remember how much we wanted this little baby and it helps make the pain disappear. I think when you have trials of infertility or go through the very long process of international adoption, it puts the little things into perspective. We are truly blessed.
