Today is Jeff's 29Th birthday and our 7Th anniversary. It is still funny to me that he was able to talk me into getting married on his birthday. He is so proud of himself that he will never forget the date of his anniversary. That is one smart cookie I married. :)
School has been so stressful for Jeff lately that I wanted to give him a day of relaxation and peace. We let daddy sleep in till 10:00 and then woke him up with homemade cinnamon rolls.
Being the awesome dad that Jeff is he decided that on his birthday he wanted to take the kids back to the train park. We have taken the kids several times and Logan and Bella look forward to it every time. Here is a link to their page.
Look at how happy they look. You couldn't ask for a better birthday gift.
Okay so I need to explain this picture. Like I said we have taken the kids several times to ride the train. The first time I took the kids we went with my friend Jessika. Lincoln loved every minute of it. Every time that Jeff has gone with me and the kids Lincoln has cried hysterically. He even starts crying before the train starts moving. He cracks me up. Every time I look at his face in this picture I can't help but laugh.
After the train we took Jeff on a hike that the kids and I had done before. It was the perfect day. The weather was fantastic, and it was so nice to be together enjoying each others company.
Do you ever have those moments in life where everything in the world is perfect? I feel like those moments remind us of what heaven will feel like. Surrounded by the people we love, and enjoying all that God has created ~ it's pure bliss in my eyes. That's what this day felt like to me.
Later that night Jeff and I were able to drop off the kids at a friend's house and have a wonderful evening out ~ just the two of us. We decided to try a restaurant called Jack Stack. I love my kids more than life, however it is an incredible thing to have one evening where I can just be myself. No one needing their nose wiped, or having to feed three other people before I even get a bite of my own dinner. It was such a pleasure to sit and talk with Jeff. It was fun to reflect on the past seven years, and think about where we will be in the years to come. It was a perfect day celebrating such a fantastic man. Love you babe!

In honor of our anniversary I would like to list just a few of the things I love about you...
