Okay so now that I am FINALLY all caught up on what I missed over the past few months I can now get back to our daily lives. Yeah!
This past Sunday Lincoln decided it was high time that he start to walk. I think it's because he wants to try and keep up with his older brother and sister. He has been so close for so long now, that it was fun to see him find his confidence.
What made me equally happy was that Lincoln decided to take some of those first steps when Jeff was actually home. I'm sure it has to be hard on a lot of dads not being able to see many of their child's first experiences. I know every time Logan did something those first two years while he was in Guatemala it heart my heart a little bit each time that I couldn't see him.
In honor of Lincoln taking his first steps I decided to take some pictures of him. I figure now that he will be running in no time I will have just as hard a time taking pictures of him as I do taking pictures of the two oldest ones. I realized when I was taking these that it has been too long since I picked up my camera. It's crazy during moving how much your world gets turned upside down. So here are a few pictures of our little man for you all to enjoy.
I think this is one of my new favorites of Lincoln. I'm still enjoying learning how my camera works, and really grateful that Jeff pushed me to develop a new talent. I didn't have to do any editing on this picture, and I really like the look of it.
I've noticed that the days have been getting a little cooler and the leaves are starting to turn the most beautiful fall colors. So before it gets too cold to enjoy, I decided to have a little picnic lunch outside the other day.
What could be better then bare feet and a Yoo-hoo?
Jeff accidentally grabbed strawberry Milano cookies at the store, so Jeff was more than willing to share them with the kids.
Life is good!

I'm thinking the reason you don't have to make any touch ups to the pics is because my grandkids ---are just way to cute! See you guys soon.
Love,
Mimi
When are you going to realise that you really just kidnapped one of my kids and that you need to give me that ADORABLE baby boy? LOL.... He is so so cute. (They all are, but it was kind of a Lincoln centric post).
We sure miss you guys.
