Just Another Day At the Park

We got invited to go to a play group today that was at a near by park.  We had a great time playing with friends even though the weather was in the 50's.

I realized again today that it's great to finally have Logan home.  Even though he is two years old there are so many first-time things that have been fun to experience with him.  Most mothers of one or two year olds know their child's likes and dislikes.  It was fun to just stand and watch Logan explore his surroundings.  It was interesting to see that as he got more comfortable he also got more adventurous .  I guess no matter what age your child is, it's fun to experience new things with them.  Thanks ladies for inviting us to tag along with you all.

What mother wouldn't love seeing this smiley face everyday.
This was Logan's first attempt down a slide.
This is the aftermath.  Is it bad that this picture cracks me up.  He looks like he's thinking, is someone going to come help me out here or what!?@!
By the end Logan was definitely more courageous when it came to the slides.
These swings were huge!!!  They reminded me of ones you would find on a roller coaster ride.
Bella did not seem as impressed as I did.

As you can see from the pictures below, we are trying to teach our little guy to be a real gentleman.  Don't you like how he waited for all his little female friends to go first, and then like a true gentleman he finally went down.  What a guy!

Bella with her little friend Brooklyn.

We tried to get a photo of all the kiddos together.  Notice Bella clapping the whole time.  She loves when people are paying her attention, at least she thought all the attention was for her.
From Left to Right: Tyler, Logan, Kate, Bella, Maddy, Brooklyn, and Lexi.
Poor little Lexi is the sweetheart in front.  All I can say is I know how you feel.  I've had those days too, honey.
Thanks guys for a fun play date.

HA HA HA!!! That picture of Logan after the slide cracked me up to. So cute. ALL those pictures are so cute! And I thought I knew my children's likes & dislikes too, but apparently not... Like, I thought Kate liked swings. And I thought she was afraid of climbing. I guess toddlers are just fickle!

Im so glad you were able to come to the park!! We're totally going back when it warms up around here. Dumb COLD. psshh. I didnt ever think about Logan getting to try all these things for the first time! I wish i could have hung out with you more so i could have been excited WITH YOU! (i was stuck at the swings!) I love the Lexi comment. She always seems to get that way in play group. Shes a real loner. She just wants to do what SHE wants to do (when its play time)

So, does tomorrow at noon work for you then? We never picked a day!!!
