The last weekend was kind of a bust. Jeff had a huge presentation at work, and did a PHENOMENAL job I might add. His co-workers were still talking about it at work today. Way to go babe!
Once he got home he finally had time to relax and then he got pretty sick with a cold. I decided to take the kids out all of Saturday morning (8:00-12:00), so he could have a nice and quite house. When I came home Saturday evening I also felt a cold coming on. Sunday I think I was pretty much dead to the world.
Jeff decided to try his hand at the cooking, and was nice enough to make it possible for Logan to see some real fire trucks.
Just kidding! Apparently one of the apartment buildings next to us caught on fire. At one point I came out of our bedroom and asked Jeff if he had heard any noises. I wasn't sure if it was my delirium or I was just dreaming things. He said he didn't hear anything, so I went back to bed. Later our friend Krista called us and filled us in on all the commotion going on in the apartment complex. If you want the whole story check out her blog.
Logan was thrilled by all the fire trucks.
After the boys checked out the cool trucks they came in and decided to catch up on their football games. Notice Logan is carrying his fire truck. Too cute!

I hope you all are feeling better! We were all a little baffled Sunday morning when no one was there to teach your class, since I just saw you on Saturday night but Krista filled me in. Luckily we found someone who would take over last minute. Good thing it wasn't YOUR apartment on fire!!
Man! I hope you guys are all feeling better now! I cant believe all the crazy action you guys got over there!!! Cool Logan got to see fire trucks in action! Im sure he will never forget!

I hope you guys are all feeling better now! When I didn't see you at church on Sunday I thought for sure Madi had infected your house or something. But then when I read that Jeff was the first to be feeling crummy- it made me feel a little bit better. I hate to be the one to cause the sickness!

HA HA HA!!! I loved the cooking joke. You guys got some great shots of the fire trucks! Um... we were too lazy to actually walk over and see them for real. I hope you're feeling better! It's been like FOUR DAYS since I've seen you! Wow that's a long time.
