I'm finally posting some of our recent pictures, of what we have been doing lately.
Earlier this summer we found a ladybug and showed it to Logan. It's all he could talk about, that is until we let him see a caterpillar. He still talks about how he had a caterpillar crawl on his arm.
We took the kids back to the 'castle park', and they really enjoyed it.
Logan and his little buddy Kate.
We had a little cold front since we have been back home. It was kind of fun pulling the kid's fall clothes out of the closet for a couple of days. I love when the seasons change. It always gets me excited for the upcoming events.
Last week our amazing friend Krista came over, and brought all her amazing talents with her. She did a little lesson for the kids, and talked about seeds and plants.
Here she is talking to the kids about seeds.
She also brought some finger paints over, so the kids could make some pictures of flowers. Logan was a big fan.
Bella couldn't wait to jump in there too.
Aren't they two of the cutest little artist you've ever seen?
After our great lesson on flowers and seeds we decided to take the kids for a walk, to apply the things they just learned.
After the walk we headed over to the tennis courts, so the kids could do a lot of this...
and a lot of running around too.
Last week we also got to go visit our friend Karen. Her boys lovingly passed on some of their Thomas toys. Logan was in heaven!!!
He would not take off this shirt, and insisted on sleeping in it. Thanks Karen and boys for making my boy so happy (and me too)!
Last weekend Jeff and Krista's husband, Travis, went camping with the boy scout troop, so we decided to get together and have some fun of our own. Krista suggested we make homemade pizzas, and they were DE-licious! Bella was super excited for the pizza making process.
Miss Kate working on her personal pizza.
Brooklyn is just an absolute sweetheart.
Check out the intensity going on in this pizza making experience.
One happy pizza eater.
The whole gang enjoying their pizzas.
After pizza it was time for a movie. Too cute!
So that's what we have been up to the last few weeks. Tomorrow we are going apple picking, so I should have some more pictures to share. It's my first time picking apples, and I'm actually super excited. I'll let you know how it goes.

Love ya guys,
Mimi
You have the cutest kids. I really wish we could have seen you. We will be back east for a quick trip in Dec. for a wedding and then again hopefully in January for meetings. I will let you know!
Awww! How cute are those little friends!!!!! Glad you guys are having fun! You and Krista always do such fun stuff! Have fun picking! I did apples once, but it was late in the season, hot and I JUST had Lexi. There were BEES everywhere from all the fallen half eaten apples. I was running through the orchard with a HOT baby in a sling and watching Krista SCALE apple trees to the TIPPY TOP to get the apples SHE wanted!! I hope youre going with her! Shes crazy and makes for extra EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)
Im so jealous!!!
Oh my gosh I'm so glad you posted ALLLLLL these pictures! Remember how for a while I stopped blogging myself and just posted the links to what YOU had blogged about? Eh heh... I should just do that from now on! And the picture of Kate & Logan at the castle park REALLY confused me. For a while I actually thought I had gone to the castle park recently without realizing it. Then I remembered that I wasn't there! I love how you catalog everything your kids do! I am so bad at that and then I really regret it when they just grow and change SO STINKIN' FAST!
PS - Sorry apple picking wasn't so great... but I LOVED the raspberries we brought home! All 18 of them!
PPS - It sounds like your husband is sitting on my couch. Why is HE always here instead of YOU? Because we would have way more fun watching chick flicks than those boys are talking science. *GASP* I've got it!!! Next time they are here, I'll come over THERE and we'll watch some project runway. Problem solved.
