So far the month of March has been full of fun festivities. We started out the month by celebrating our nephew's first birthday. My sister planned a cowboy themed party for her little guy. We all got in the spirit of the day and dressed up in our cowboy outfits and headed down to celebrate at their place.
Her little man is so adorable. It's been hard to believe how fast this past year has gone. It has been fun to be living closer, so that we can actually see my sister's family on a more regular basis.
Here are a few snap shots of her adorable little cowboy.
Isn't my sister gorgeous! Everyone in her family is super photogenic, so it makes it fun taking pictures of them. She teases me a lot about the amount of pictures I take, but when you have such beautiful subjects it makes it easy.
This is our oldest niece with the birthday boy.
Lincoln decided to help Papa but together some of the birthday presents.
Logan LOVES lemonade, so my sister scored big points when she asked Logan if he wanted to make some fresh lemonade.
He was super excited, and enthralled by the whole process.
My sister did a great job planning all the food for the party. We had hamburgers and some fantastic homemade baked beans. It was all delicious!
My little man giving me his best cowboy stare down. He looks pretty tough!
At one point we took the kids for a quick walk. I really love this wagon that my sister had. You can fit two kids into it, and it's got benches for them to sit on. Genius!
My sister's youngest daughter is a crack up! Almost every time we see her she is in some kind of princess, dance, or fluffy outfit. She decided that a leotard, and leg warmers were much more appropriate attire for a cowboy party.
On our walk I was amazed at all the crocus and other bulb flowers that were already coming up. I adore spring weather, and all the beauty that comes along with it.
On our walk we found a little creak, so the kids were able to play for awhile. There is something about water and rocks that make every kid completely happy and content.
Speaking of content ~ don't you love Logan's face in this picture? That is one happy boy!
Kirsten also had all kind of games planned for the kids to enjoy. Logan liked working on his target practise with the rubber band gun.
Mimi and her hunk-a-hunk of love.
My sweet little buckaroo.
All the kids adore their Uncle Patch, so they were thrilled to have him at the party too.
Here are some pics of all the kids at the party.

Midge (Age: 9)
What a crazy bunch!
This past week we decided to go to the local pool for our Family Home Evening activity. This was Lincoln's first time in the pool, and he loved it.
I think he had a smile on his face the whole time he was in the pool.
They kept the baby pool nice and warm, so he was so happy the whole time we were there. I think he would have stayed in for hours if we would have let him.
Logan did pretty well, compared to last summer. He still wouldn't get off the stairs, but at least he got in the pool. Baby steps right?
Bella took right to it. She has been asking to go to the pool for weeks now, and she loved every minute of it.
This past week we also celebrated my mom's birthday. For some reason I didn't mange to get a single picture of her on her birthday. We went to dinner at an Italian restuarant, and then came home for dessert. I made a peanut butter chocolate cake. I don't think this picture does it justice. It only took us a few days to finish it up, so I think that was a good sign.
With all of these fun filled days we have been wiped out. A few of us have come down with some kind of bug. Lincoln was up last night until 3:30 and then up at 7:30 this morning. I'm hoping that we can all rest up today, because tomorrow we will be celebrating Bella's third birthday! I can't beleive it!
I'm hoping for a quiet restful day, is that possible with three kids?
What is it about sleeping kids that make them look so angelic? Have I mentioned lately how much I love this little face.
If March keeps going the way it has I'll have lots more write ups to come.

Thanks so much for all the pictures. It was great seeing all the kids. Grandma and grandpa Leishman must be so proud. So lucky to all be together. Love to look at your blog. Aunt Kim
