Spring Break

For Spring Break this year Jeff was able to get one day off of work. We were originally planning on going to the coast on Friday, but when we checked the weather forecast we did a change of plans. My mom treated us to a trip to Salem where we went to the Kroc Center.

We have been working on potty training with Bella this past week, and we told her that if she went potty for four days we would take her to the pool.

Well, this pool was like a pool on steroids.
The kids had a BLAST, and we ended up staying for hours. It was fantastic!

This little boy sat on the sidelines with me, and enjoyed all the people watching.
Logan still is not very willing to jump in, but enjoys sitting on the sidelines. We kept asking him if he wanted to go in, but he would tell us that he was just fine.
Happy as a clam.
This little girl was tickled pink to have her daddy with her all day.

Can you see how Lincoln's hair started to curl, because of the humidity in the pool? It looks like we might have two curly haired kids.

We took Lincoln into the pool, and he LOVED it. He was so fun to watch as he fearlessly took on the kiddy pool.

He would have spent hours in the pool if we would have let him.

He skipped his nap, so by the end of the two hours he could hardly keep his eyes open.

After the pool my mom treated us to lunch at the Road House Grill. The kids were mesmerized with being allowed to throw peanut shells on the floor. They thought it was the coolest thing to be able to make a huge mess on the floor, and not get in trouble for it. It was a great day!

The Kroc center is a lot of fun. The water was freezing the one time we went, so I hope it was warm for you guys. Did your kids try the climbing wall? They let kids 3 and up do it. Eleanor tried it, but she would only get so high before she was done.

You'll have to let us know next time you're in Salem!
