Grandpa Dan and Grandma B Come To Visit

As I mentioned in the last post we were lucky enough to have Jeff's dad and grandma come for a visit in August. It was so nice to have them. This really was the first time besides when Jeff and I got married (almost seven years ago) that we have gotten to see them for an extended time.

Dan was actually able to drive up and see Bella in the hospital when we went to pick her up, and he also was able to see her for a quick visit when she was six months old. Other than that this was the first time Jeff's family was able to meet Logan and Lincoln.

We have decided that when ever people come to visit us, we have to take them for BBQ since that is a food staple in Kansas City. One of our new favorites is Oklahoma Joe's.

Can you see the HUGE piece of meat in front of Jeff? Him and his dad both ordered a full set of ribs. They said they were fantastic, and they actually ate almost all of it.

It was a huge hit with everyone, even though Isabella was being a little monster during most of the dinner. Lucky for us we got there a little before 5:00 and we didn't have to wait long, but before we left we noticed the line to order wrapped all the way around the building.

Lincoln was hysterical to watch as he experienced his first barbeque. I think it was a HUGE hit!
Oh the anticipation....

Sweet Heaven! Finally!!!

It was so cute to see how much the kids loved spending time with their grandparents. Grandma B even taught Logan how to play chopsticks on the piano.
