First Week of Preschool

This past week Logan was able to start preschool again.  He has been so EXCITED to start.  He asked me multiple times a day if it was time to go to school yet.

Here he is on the first day of preschool.
Originally I was going to make him pancakes for breakfast (they are his favorite), but lucky for me my awesome and amazing friend Jessika dropped off homemade cinnamon rolls the night before.  I made a cute (Is it cute or just scary?) face on his cinnamon roll for his first day of school.  Bella kept saying, "Happy Birthday, Logan!", and kept trying to sing happy birthday to him.
The cinnamon rolls were a HUGE hit.  And because I didn't have to make breakfast from scratch I was still able to get four people bathed, dressed, pictures taken, and out the door in time to get to school on time.  It was a great day!
  My handsome little preschooler.
One of the items listed on Logan's supply list was a paint smock.  Because money is tight (translation = nonexistent) I decided to make one using one of Jeff's old t-shirts.  I cut the back open and added three pieces of Velcro, in order to make it easy to get on and off.  I then used freezer paper to make a stencil to paint his name on the front.
Getting his name tag, and finding his locker.
He looks so big in this picture.

This is one of Logan's nervous habits.  When he gets nervous or worried he fidgets with his hands and fingers.  He actually did fantastic this week.  When he was going to preschool in Oregon he had some really rough days and would cry hysterically when he had to go to school.  On Logan's first day of school he went right in, and was so happy to be there.  The second day he cried and I had to carry him. Once we got in the door I had to peel him off of me, but the teacher said that only lasted for a few minutes.  The last day Logan wanted me to stay in the car, and just watch him go in all by himself.

While Logan was at school Bella, Lincoln, and I went and played.  One of Bella's favorite places to go is the CIA (translation = YMCA).  They have a huge slide and play area for them to run and play.

I am so proud of this little guy, and looking forward to all that he will learn this year in school.  He is such a sweetheart, and it's fun seeing him gain more self confidence in himself.
* I'm liking this new blog setup.  It's nice that I can now make the pictures larger, and it seems easier to use.

Man, your kids are getting so big! And they're all so cute! I love that Bella calls it the CIA. Little things like that are what make kids so fun.

I personally LOVE the smock. Great idea! How did you make the last picture bigger? I keep seeing that but haven't figured it out yet...
