The Green Bean

It's always a little fun, exciting, and nerve wrecking moving to a new place for me.  One of the things I enjoy most is learning and meeting new people.  I'm a pretty shy person, until I get to know someone.  The thing that I always love is finding out about other people's talents and interests.  It's always fascinating to me.  I always think about how incredible it is that Heavenly Father knows each person's story and knows them personally.

Anyway one of the people that I met while living here is Angela.  The first time I remember meeting her at church I remember thinking to myself she is one of the most stylish and beautiful people I have ever met.  You know those people?  The ones that seem like they are so intimidating to talk to, because I have ground up graham crackers stuck to my behind, and baby drool running down my shirt.  The great thing about Angela is she is just as nice as she is beautiful.

One of the things I learned about Angela is she is an incredible designer.  She recently started a company called The Green Bean.  She makes the cutest hand bags out of recycled coffee bean bags that she gets right here in Kansas City.  So cool right!  What makes it even better is some of the bags have Guatemalan printing.  Just like our little Logan ~ made in Guatemala.
