Well, it was bound to happen... my baby girl turned TWO on Sunday. I honestly can't believe how fast these past two years have gone. She sure has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives.
We decided to celebrate her birthday on Saturday, since Sundays can be pretty hectic. She woke up happy, and was impressed with my poor attempt at decorating for her big day.
Her daddy had to go into work early that morning, so on his way home he picked up some donuts for breakfast.
Bella playing a game of peekaboo.
She was very happy to let us all know that she was two.
After breakfast we opened up some presents.
My mom made her this cute tutu.
We (mainly I) decided that we would start trying to get Bella interested in potty training. I'm thinking that if I can get Bella doing it Logan will follow suit, since he loves doing everything that Bella does. To be honest the thought of having three kids in diapers is a little scary thinking of all the cost involved.
Apparently Bella was not very impressed with this gift.
This past Christmas we had gone over to the Jones' house, and the kids loved playing with all their new toys. I think a majority of the toys we got Bella were from ideas that we got from their family. These magnetic ice cream cones were one of those toys. The kids love playing with them. I think Logan might have some professional ice cream scooping in his future.
One of Bella's favorite toys was this little vacuum we got her. It was taking me forever to do any vacuuming, because Bella always wanted to help. Now when ever I turn the vacuum on she runs and gets her little one. It's pretty stinkin' cute!
When all was said and done we had a pretty happy little girl on our hands.
Of course after everything was open she went for the one toy that always seems to be the most popular... the box.
Later that night we went to Red Robin for dinner.
She decided to show us her sophistication and what a big two year old she was by eating her french fries with a fork.?.
Because she was the birthday girl, daddy even let her dip into his strawberry lemonade.
After they came and sang to Bella, she couldn't wait to get he hands on the ice cream sundae.
On Sunday we gave the kids a little cake, and let her blow out her candle.
She actually did really well blowing the candle out. She liked it so much that she kept making us light it over and over, so she could blow it out again.
Logan thought the whole thing was pretty humorous.
This is the face we now get, when we ask Logan to give us a smile.
When I think about our little Bella I still get very emotional and sentimental about the feelings that I have for this miracle child in our lives. She truly was an answer to so many prayers. She came into my life when my heart was broken, and filled me with more love than I ever thought was possible. Every day I can't imagine my life without her. Bella has taught me more about the love of the Savior than I could have ever imagined knowing two years ago. She is one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen, both on the inside and on the outside. I feel blessed and honored to be her mother.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR BEAUTIFUL BELLA!

Fun doing the web chat with ya all when Bella was opening her gifts. I guess if we can't be together, the web chat is the next best. Happy Birthday Beautiful Isabella!

The picture of her on the toilet is awesome!! My little Lona is no where near being ready for potty training as of now. Oh well. But thankfully she'll be 2 1/2 by the time the next baby comes so I'm hoping before then. 3 babies in diapers... oh my!! I thought two was a lot. I'd want that also if I were you! Maybe both will want to in the next few months and there you go! :) Also, the ice cream cones and vacuum cleaner are great ideas for me for Lona. I have been trying to figure out what she'd like that they don't already have. Cute, cute girl!!
Those toys are so CUTE! I love the vacuum and ice cream scoop. Carter loves the vacuum too. I just don't get it, but that idea may be our future too.
Happy Happy Birthday Bella!
Happy Birthday Bella girl. Those look like some pretty awesome gifts. So Shauna were you able to leave comments on my blog now, or is it still being glitchy?
