We had a jam packed Christmas holiday, filled with lots of memories.
On Christmas eve we headed over to Albany to take a tour of the carousel that they are constructing. It was pretty amazing to see all the many hours that have gone into making each animal, and the detail is indescribable.
They already have a few of the animals completed, so the kids were able to try them out.
Have I mentioned how much I love this little boy's smile.
We were able to snap a couple of family pictures while we were there.
After the tour we headed over to a restaurant and got about four large pizzas in order to feed the whole crew. It's been amazing to see how large our extended family is getting.
I like how Bella decided that her cousin Liam was in need of some Parmesan cheese on his pizza.
Later that night the kids were able to dress up, and act out the nativity story. They looked adorable, and did a great job.
Bella was an angel (no type casting here).
Logan was a shepherd.
My brother was the narrator for the evening, and also played King Herod.
Jeff and my brother-in-law were the wise men. They both played their roles true to character.
And our little Lincoln was the sweet baby Jesus.
A cast photo.
Before the kids went to bed they got to open their one gift ~ which is always pajamas.
This year all the kids also got new pillow cases and a new pillow pet. They were a huge hit.
All the cousins in their new pajamas.
For Jeff's pajamas he received his first pair of scrubs. They look like a perfect fit to me.
On Christmas morning the kids went nuts opening the gifts they had received. It was a blast seeing their excitement and joy.
Logan loves his new apron that his Mimi made. He insists on wearing it every time he helps out in the kitchen.
My sister made all the men marshmallow guns. It didn't take long for a marshmallow war to start.
Bella loved her new princess dress up clothes.
Lincoln ended up sleeping through all the excitement, so he ended up having his own present opening experience later that morning.
One of Lincoln's favorite gifts was his new Sophie the giraffe toy. It is a teething toy that was first made in France in 1961.
This was the gift that I made Jeff for Christmas. I think it turned out pretty cute (especially because it has all of our cutie patootie kids), and I was pretty proud of myself that I spent less than $10.00 making it.
And to round out our holiday season the traditional family Christmas photos.
We sure had an amazing 2010. Our biggest 2010 miracle was the addition of Lincoln to our family. We feel so blessed to have such awe inspiring children, and we are grateful everyday for the blessing they all are.
