Can you believe that Christmas is just a week away?
The last couple of weeks we have really enjoyed visiting and reconnecting with friends and family. It's been a blast to finally be able to participate in recitals, concerts, and other things that we have missed out on when we lived hundreds of miles away.
Last week we were able to head up to the Portland area and see our friends darling little girl perform in her ballet recital. Can I just say there are few things cuter than little girls in pink tutus performing to the Nutcracker. ADORABLE! And I have to say that Maddy was exceptionally impressive with her dancing abilities.
After watching Maddy perform Bella was just itching to jump up on stage and show off her skills.
This picture cracks me up. Notice Logan trying to be sly and put the moves on his little friend Maddy. He is such a little lover boy.
We sure had a blast spending the day with our friends and reconnecting after many months. I love that with good friends, no matter how long you are away from each other, you can get back together and pick up right where you left off.
Thanks Conklins for a fantastic day!
Last weekend we were able to go visit my sister and her family. Her daughter was performing in a singing recital.
I think we were all blown away with how amazing our nieces' singing skills are.
She did a phenomenal job.
My brother was very impressed as well.
This is Logan's happy face lately. What a silly boy! This other adorable boy is my little nephew, who we also adore.
Mimi having some cuddle time with her two newest grandchildren.
After the concert we headed back to my sister and brother-in-law's house and relaxed for the afternoon.
Later that evening we got to go to my sister's ward Christmas party. My sister's family was asked to participate in a program that their ward was putting on.
Here are a few pictures of the show that they performed in.
My brother-in-law and nephew were also able to participate.
Logan was very impressed with the whole production.
They also had a special visitor stop by. After a lot of moral support from my sister, Bella decided to give Santa a try. She did much better than her last encounter with 'Noah' (she is still calling Santa Noah).
Pretty cute!
We were even able to sneak in a family picture of us all together.

Thanks for coming up, we had a blast. Maddy keeps asking about her friends, Bella and Logan. We will need to get together again soon. Anton has these next two weeks off.
