Lucky Friday the 13th

Today our little man turned 18 months.  I've never been superstitious of the day Friday the 13th, probably because I was born on a Friday the 13th.  Plus how could you possibly think anything bad would happen when you get to look at this little face all day...
Here are a few facts about our little Lincoln right now:
Jeff tried to get Logan and Bella to like this stuffed monkey that we had.  Neither one of them ended up liking it, but it looks like Jeff finally found someone that can't live without it.
I have to admit that I am one of those moms that simply adores the baby stage.  I love everything about it.  It's hard for me to see Lincoln growing out of the baby stage, and more into the toddler stage.  He is trying to become more independent, and likes to do things on his own.
He is still a thumb sucker, and doesn't look like he will be stopping anytime soon.  He had his first dentist appointment this month.  He did not enjoy it at all, and made sure we all knew that he was not having fun.
Even though you can't tell from these pictures, this little boy HATES having his clothes off.  When I'm changing him he cries and tries to pull his shirt or pants back on.
He is still a good snuggler, but I get a sense that they are starting to tapper off.  It makes me sad, because one of my favorite things in the whole wide world is snuggling up with a little baby in my arms.  Knowing our track record I'm not sure when we will get to have another little baby in our house, so I will try and enjoy every little hug that I get from him.
He is still an avid little reader.  He loves having books read to him, and is now babbling along to the story.  For some reason he does not like going to story time at the library.  I suppose he likes to be able to hold the book himself.
We are thinking about putting Bella into preschool with Logan next month.  I have a feeling that Lincoln will miss his big sister and brother terribly.  He just adores the both of them, and tries so hard to keep up with them.
Another fun and random fact about our little Lincoln, he is currently addicted to canned whip cream.  You know the stuff like Reddi Whip.  I blame this obsession on his dad.  Jeff introduced Lincoln to it over the Christmas break, and now it has gotten to the point that we can't even have it in the house.  We were at Walmart buying groceries one time when Lincoln spotted the can from across the aisle.  He went into full meltdown mode when he couldn't have any.  We couldn't open the fridge door when Lincoln was in the kitchen because he would swing the door open and find the can.  It was pure ridiculousness.  I finally threw away a full can, because he was getting so crazy about it.

Lately I feel like this time has been going so quickly with these three little miracle kids of ours.  Lincoln is starting nursery on Sunday, and I just can't believe it.  I feel like he is so little, and still my baby.  I'm sure there will be many new things to love about Lincoln entering the toddler stage, but sometimes change is hard.
For the most part he is such a happy, giggly, sweet little guy.  He is definitely starting to have his 'ugly' moments.   Moments of me wanting to pull out my hair while he is throwing a tantrum, but we love him and wouldn't want him any other way.
Everyday we feel blessed that we have our little man in our lives.  He has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives.  We are all better people having known him.
