New Year New Beginnings

Tomorrow is a bitter sweet day in the Burnett household.  Jeff has to head back to school after being off for three weeks.  He says he is feeling renewed and recharged.  I'm happy that he gets to get back in there and continue on his endeavors, but I have to admit I'm really going to miss him.  Of course there are the little quirks that can get to you on an everyday basis, but for the most part it has really been fun having him home.

On Sunday he had an early morning meeting (he is the Ward Mission Leader).  Usually Jeff has been the one getting up with Bella in the mornings.  When she saw me she asked, "Where did Daddy go?"  After I explained to her he was at a meeting, and we would see him later at church she said, "I really miss my Daddy."  I had to admit I really missed him too.

While Jeff has been off of school over these last few weeks him and two friends have started an apparel and charity company.  I honestly don't know how Jeff does it all.  Who does that?!?!  Who goes to medical school, and also starts up a new business in the process.  He is really proud of the company, and I have to admit so am I.  It has been great to see these three guys come together to help each other, and others.  I know they will succeed, because they all have the most amazing hearts and desire to help others.    Isn't it amazing when you have the opportunity to surround yourself with people who challenge you to be a better person?  I LOVE that about my Jeff.  He really is a fantastic person, and I couldn't be more proud of him.
