This week we took the kids over for a visit to the Oregon coast. The best part was we didn't even have to pay to walk on the beach :) (If you don't remember our experience on a Maryland beach click here.) It was a little chilly the day we went, but that's OK because it gives us an excuse to go again before we leave.
My brother was nice enough to take Logan for a walk along the beach coast. So cute!!!
After finishing our lunch at the Chowder Bowl we walked down to the beach and this is what we saw. A large fishing boat was stuck on the beach. Apparently the captain fell asleep and next thing you know his boat is stuck on land.

YAY a FREEEE beach! Amazing! Ha ha! Wow I can't believe it was chilly? But the fishing boat was totally cool! That is so something I would do if I were a fishing boat captain. Which is why I am not. We miss you guys here! We stayed up late watching movies last night with your hubby! Don't you wish you were here??? (Okay fine, we can't compete with your really cool beach and Chowder Bowl lunches!)
LOVE the Oregon Coast!! That was where we went every summer for our family vacation. SUCH great memories! My parents were actually just there last week! Glad to hear that you and the kiddos are having such a fabulous time! I bet you can hardly wait for Jeff to come out and join in on all the fun!
Your kids are getting so big and cute!! Bella's hair is so pretty with those curls! Wow, that's crazy about a boat coming into shore! Also, I looked at your Maryland beach post and I can't believe that!! We are so lucky here!
