What was I thinking?!?
I have this weird obsession with holidays. I always want to have everything just perfect, and do all the traditional 'stuff' that goes along with holidays. Looking at these beautiful dyes makes me happy. That is of course until I throw two young kids into the mix. One adult with four little wild hands... what was I thinking?
This is the first thing I made with our new stove, hard boiled eggs. I must say it worked wonderfully.
The kids were pretty interested when I gave them each their own egg. I told Logan to be very soft and gentle with it.
Bella's just wondering if it's something she can eat.
Yep that is an egg flying through the air.
I gave Logan a quick demonstration on how to softly place the egg in the bowl of dye. Apparently I should have given a longer demonstration.
Notice all the BLUE spots everywhere. Yes, even on my camera lens. Looking at the positive, he has a really good arm for throwing things.
Yep blue paint on the camera, the walls, the carpet, the table, the kids, me, everywhere!!!!
This is pretty much what we were left with. A bunch of cracked, blue speckled Easter eggs.
On a positive note at least we had fun while doing it. RIGHT????
HAPPY EASTER!
