Last week was 'interesting', but we started out good and ended well. I think that's all a person can ask for.
On Thursday we headed over to a park that a friend told us about. The playground was ginormous. I think it was one of the largest playgrounds that I have ever seen, so I can only imagine what it must have seemed like for a kid.
They had these great swing/saucer things.
I love this little red haired girl. I have only had the opportunity to talk with her a few times, and I have loved every minute of it. She is always so happy, her mom is pregnant with another little girl right now. I hope they get another just like her.
Our park experience consisted of climbing,
meeting new friends,
playing with these amazing musical chimes,
laughing, and looking cute,
and this tractor!!! This was the infamous tractor that once Logan got into I could not get him off. There were so many fun things to do at the park, but every time I would try and distract him with something else...
this is what would happen. I would get him some what away from the tractor, and he would just run right back. So much for trying to talk with other moms, and have an adult conversation.
Basically Bella and I hung out watching Logan drive his tractor.
At least we had enough sun that we needed to wear our sunglasses. Yeah!
The next day we spent in the doctor's office with our little Bella. She had been running a pretty high fever off and on during the week. My sister made the suggestion that I should take her in on Friday because it could be an ear infection, and with the weekend coming it would be good to get her in just in case it was something serious.
They checked her ears and they looked fine. They took her temperature and it was 103.7, not good. The doctor suggested that they needed to put a catheter in her and see if she had a urinary infection. Can I just say that it's one of the worst things in the world to hear and see your child scream and crying in pain. Lucky for me Jeff some how got off work and came to the doctor's office with us. I don't know what I would have done with out him.
The doctor decided to put her on some antibiotics, because the quick test result came back abnormal.
Such a little trooper.
Earlier that day I had made some banana muffins. They were my saving grace because as long as I kept the muffins coming Logan did great.
Saturday afternoon Bella's fever finally broke so we decided to celebrate and go get an ice cream cone.
I think our little girl is starting to feel better. I know chocolate always makes me feel better.:)
Every time Jeff would give her some ice cream she would pucker her lips like this. We thought it was so cute how she was enjoying every minute of her ice cream.
At Bruster's they give small kids free ice cream cones. Logan ate his and Bella's cone.
Aren't the cones adorable. Logan loved it.
Today Bella was feeling a lot better. I think the antibiotics are kicking in. The doctor should have the results tomorrow, so we will see if she is going to need more testing or treatments.
After church I took the kids out back and snapped a few quick shots. Grandpa Dan sent Logan this super cute outfit, and Grandma Mimi sent Bella her dress.
All in all we ended on top. Bella is feeling better, the rest of us are healthy, and we got to spend time together. Life is good!!!

Brusters is my favorite! And "castle park," as my kids call it, is amazing, but a little overwhelming. Poor Bella getting a fever!
A few things about this post: Love the glasses on the kids!! Love the kid's ice cream cone!! Want a park like that here!!! Love their Sunday clothes! Gorgeous! And how adorable that the dress scoops down in the back. Too cute!
Cia Bella! So thrilled to see you in the beautiful dress. Mimi is so glad you are feeling better. I went through manY a medical test w/ your Mommy and it's not fun. Sir Logan, I'm so glad you love tractors. You must be your Papa Steve's boy. When you come to Oregon I will make sure he gets the tractor going. Love you guys,
Mimi
Logan is so cute! That park looked really cool. I have never heard of wind chimes at a park.
LOVE all these pictures! And YUM that Brewsters ice cream looks good! After B&J today maybe we should make FREE ICE CREAM a weekly tradition! Or Bi-weekly? Monthly? Not sure how good for me this could possibly be.
I love those sunglasses! Awesome.
