The Library, Ice Cream, and Surprise Cookies

On Tuesday we were invited to go to our local library, and play in one of their activity rooms.  The kids had a lot of fun playing with toys that they don't see everyday.

This little cutie patootie was trying to perform a puppet show for us.  Bella was really enjoying the show.
Although I'm not sure how helpful it is when your audience tries to take away the puppet involved in the show.
Logan has started voicing his dislike of me taking his picture.  He usually points his finger at me and yells, "No, no!!!"

The other day we went for some more free ice cream again with Krista and her little ones.  I came a little more prepared this time with a bib for Logan.
After he scarfed down his ice cream he was wondering where another one was.  Look at those pleading big brown eyes.
Yesterday I made these Surprise Cookies.  I got the recipe from my friend Erica.  I'm not sure if I should be thanking her, or shaking my fist at her.  They are sooo good I could eat a dozen or more.  Yum, yum.  If you want the recipe click here.

Here they are right out of the oven.
And here is the finished product.

YUM! Those cookies look SO good. Do you dip them in chocolate when they are done? I am totally grabbing the recipe. Tyler is doing the same thing as Logan with the picture taking...he points at me or holds up his hands and yells "NO take picture mommy!" It's exasperating, but cute...

First of all, those cookies look SO good that I made sure and printed off the recipe! I have a primary activity that I need to bring cookies to and I wasn't sure what I wanted to bring. These will be different, yummy and perfect!! Secondly, your library has that playroom?! I'm jealous! Ours has a few puzzles, a train and some puppets. I wish we had that! :)

Oh man I polished off those cookies so fast! YUM YUM what an amazing little baker you are! Also I have a cute picture of Logan eating his ice cream that I need to give you. I love the pointing finger and shouting "NO!" Ha ha! That's hilarious!
