What to do when it's super hot outside...

These last few days have been on the warmer side out here on the east coast.  We have been trying to enjoy the weather, and attempting to stay cool at the same time.

Yesterday we went over to a nearby lake and walked around while we were waiting for Daddy to get done with work.  It's a nice little walk, but I wouldn't recommend walking around there when you are hungry.  The smells of Mexican, Thai, and Steak Houses can be very dangerous when it's a half hour away from dinner time.
We also decided to go play out in the shade by our house.

Today we were invited to a water party.  The kids loved playing in the tub of water.  Plus I had fun putting them in their new swimsuits.  Thanks for inviting us Anie.

Why is it that little kid's bums look so stinking cute in swimsuits?
After awhile Melissa got out her amazing snow cone machine.  Look at how excited Logan is for his first snow cone.

Bella wasn't too sure of the snow cone idea at first.
But she really enjoyed her spoon.
Lately I have been finding Bella doing this cool move.  I have never been able to capture in on film, until now.  What do you think, do we have a future gymnast in the family?

Can you tell by the syrup running down his chin, that he loved his snow cone?
Kirsten stopped by with her two adorable girls.  It was so cute to see Maddy loving on baby Julia.  I'm sure she is going to make a great big sister.
Lexi is such a beautiful little girl.
Isn't it great how something so simple can make kids so happy.

My little sunshine girl.
