Last night for our family night we decided to take the kids to see the temple grounds. It was really fun to hear Logan say, "Jesus House" over and over.
Logan was very impressed with the Christ statue in the visitor center. He just kept saying, "Wow, Jesus!"
I love how the kids were in awe of everything.
I just adore the picture below. I think I might even blow it up larger, because I hope that Bella will always look towards the temple during her life.
Today the kids and I went to another Mommy and Me activity put on by the city center. This time around we decided to get there a little earlier, but alas the balloon animal line was still outrageous.
Here are some of the activities that we did to kill the time.
Logan enjoyed watching the construction workers. He was so enthralled that he didn't even want out of the stroller.
Bella on the other hand was all over the place. One of the games that she came up with was play with the base of an umbrella stand. At least she is creative?!
I think Anie and Madi had the right idea of just sitting back and relaxing for awhile.
Bella was also quite enthralled with peeking into the store windows.
While waiting in the balloon line we also jumped in the face painting line (which had no one waiting), and got a quick flower put on Bella's cheek. I was pretty surprised that she sat as still as she did.
Finally it was our turn, and we made it up to the crazy balloon lady. She made Bella a flower that matched her outfit (pretty cute), and Logan got an Elmo (of course).
From the look on his face he didn't seem too impressed with his balloon. Maybe it was the waiting forever in the line.
Here are a few of the kids with their new balloons. Unfortunately we didn't even get down the block before Logan's balloon popped. What!?! He kept asking, "Where's Elmo?"
I think Bella is teething again, because she has been chewing on everything. She got one of her back molars in, but I think she might be getting another one.
I swear that Logan is going to be our little Latin Lover. Look at the way that he is eyeing little Madi.
I love this picture of Kate. She looks like she is just one happy little girl. A smoothie in one hand, and a pink flower balloon in the other. What more could a little girl ask for?
Here's a couple videos of the kids when I woke them up this morning. I never know what kind of mood I'm going to find, so it's always fun to see what's awaiting me behind the door.
(I'm having a hard time uploading the video of Bella, so I will try again tomorrow. Check back, because it is super cute.)

Your kids are SO stinkin' cute!
You got some great pictures at the Mommy & Me! Thanks for letting me butt in the balloon line with you guys. And EXTRA credit for you and Krista for dealing with TWO kids EVERY DAY! Adding a second toddler to my outing was a little crazy. I also LOVE the picture of Bella looking at the temple. I think you SHOULD blow it up and put it in her room. Or submit it to the Friend or Ensign or something. Great pics!
How CUTE! I LOVE that picture of Bella! You should DEFINITELY enlarge & frame it! That was so fun yesterday... let's hope we have as much luck TODAY! We are so brave. And next... the ZOO???
I LOVE the temple pictures! So precious!! I also love Bella's brown and pink skirt and matching clip. How cute!!
Hey, I hope Logan knows that there is only one Madilyn or Maddy for him! :) I loved the temple pics. I am so excited for you guys to go to the temple. Logan and Bella will be very blessed to have you and Jeff as part of their forever family!! I can't wait to see you!!
You got a LOT of great pics from the Mommy and Me activity! I think it was just a little too much for me- I was BEAT afterwards (and that's only with ONE kid:)! I also love all the temple pictures. Madi's been begging to go back so I think we'll be making it a Father's Day activity this weekend.
Pretty soon they'll be waking up at Mimi's house!!!!! 41 more days, YEAH!
Love,
Mimi
