Logan's First Birthday Invite

This past weekend we got to celebrate Little Miss Madi's second birthday. This was actually the first birthday party invite that Logan has gotten since coming home, so needless to say we were all pretty excited about going. Miss Madi did not let us down on the festivities, she sure knows how to through a good party (with a little help from her mommy and daddy too).

Here is the birthday girl. Isn't she a cutie!

They had all kinds of great activities for the kids. Bella loved the kiddie pool. The only problem was she kept throwing water on everyone, so we finally had to pull her out.

Poor Logan was one of the casualties from Bella's water fight.

They had this great parachute for the kids (big and small) to play with.

Melissa made these amazing cupcakes for Madi's party. Can you see all the detail work that she put into them? Yep she even painted little ladybugs on M&Ms. They were adorable!

And pretty tasty too.

Bella has now figured out how to climb up on everything. Sometimes it's pretty funny to see her lifting her leg up to try and get up on things.

We gave Madi a dress and made some hair bows to match . She wore the dress to church on Sunday, and we think she looked so cute in it.

My little Latin lover went in for a hug from the birthday girl. She wasn't very impressed with him, but just give her a little more time. Those big brown eyes of Logan's are pretty convincing after awhile.

For the walk home we grabbed some of the snacks, so they were both ready to go down for a nap as soon as we got home.
