Bella's Big Day

Tomorrow we are headed into D.C. for Bella's appointment at the Children's National Medical Center Hospital.  She has her appointment for an ultrasound and a VCUG (poor girl has to get another catheter :(  I hate those things!!!) .  This is the one thing that I hate most about being a parent, is seeing your child in pain and not being able to help them.  I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about it.

This last month Bella got a urinary infection, and her pediatrician ordered more tests to be done.  We don't have a lot of medical information on Bella's birth parents.  The only info her birth mother gave us was that she had reconstructive urinary tract surgery at the age of five.  I am hoping and praying that everything will come back normal and healthy for our little girl.  I can't imagine having to see my little girl wheeled in for surgery.  It would tear my heart up.

Our appointment is at 10:00 am tomorrow.  I think it will be quite the experience heading into D.C. with two little ones during rush hour.  Wish us luck.

We would really appreciate any prayers and good wishes that you can send our way, for our sweet little Bella.  Thanks for the help!

We will keep you all in our prayers. If she does need surgery, you can do it. My nephew has had 5-surgeries, and he's only 5. My sister-in-law said it's hard at first, but ped's nurses are the BEST and make it so much easier. Keep us all posted.

Oh my goodness. I was not aware of this. I'll be sure to keep little Bella in my thoughts and prayers- especially today as she's at her appointment. I hope everything went ok today. I wish you the best of luck.
